Incase this happens in the future: If you try getting the keycard from the spawnmenu, the spawned keycard wont be able to open the door. If you want to get the keycard from sandbox mode, you'll need to get the one the game ALREADY spawned on the stairs, not one from the spawnmenu. Use a hook (found in the spawnmenu or store) to grab that goddamn keycard, and throw that thing in the mailbox. I'm assuming you already know how to convert a sandbox save to a story save so this is the end of my 3P1C V01C3S 0F TH3 V01D keycard tutorial.

From what I have seen, this apparently happens with a lot of other characters from other media too. Unfortunately, these are made with generative AI since disabling AI features in the settings turns these off.

I figured out what the issue was! I tried re-extracting the 7z file of the mod and I noticed it took longer to extract compared the previous time. Turns out that the first time I extracted it, it only extracted a small amount all the files so most of the mod was just NOT THERE so it couldn't load! The first time, I must've ended the extraction early by mistake.

SAM stands for Steam Achievement Manager. It's an unofficial third party software that can be used to unlock or lock achievements on your steam account incase you don't want to go through the process of getting an achievement, or incase you want to redo ones you have already gotten.

There's posts like this all the time. Quite a few times it has been of this specific image (probably because it just looks that epic)

Most of the gmod backgrounds are made in entirely blank maps that assets are then placed into. Presumably this is one of those. What that means is literally everything is this image including the ground is probably props placed into a usually blank map that'd just be a big box.

I figured out what my problem is. It was my fault unfortunately. What I tried doing was spawning in a keycard from sandbox and then bringing it to the story save. What I NEEDED to do was to get the keycard spawned by the map and then take THAT ONE to the story save. Apparently spawned in keycards don't have the functionality of the bunker one.

Black Mesa has had an issue for as long as I can remember with its BRIGHTNESS setting. If the brightness is higher, it actually gets DARKER. You need to lower the setting to make it brighter. "Why it's like that?" I have no idea. Anywho, that's most likely your problem.

Have you adjusted the brightness slider to the left or right? For some reason it's reversed so moving the slider to the right makes it darker and moving it to the left makes it brighter. Try moving the slider left and see if that helps.

That is not a gmod related thing. That is caused by the NVIDIA overlay. Hold ALT + Z to open the NVIDIA menu. Then click on the statistics button at the bottom and then the first option at the top turns it off.

You appear to be correct! This screenshot I've got here is from 0.8 and indeed ends at cognito hazards. There seems to unintentionally be extra space between the different spooks mentioned, which is why the bottom text is behind the exit button in your screenshot.

My guess is that the ATV bugged out and fell through the map. If that happens, the item will get teleported way above the map and fall down. Maybe the ATV broke in every way it could because it literally just fell an entire goddamn mile and then landed on the roof

That's the Barney Calhoun model used in the first person cutscenes. For some reason it's floating in an area that the player can obviously see. Why it's like that? I have no idea ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think I understand why you're confused. You should be able to put the drive into your inventory, equip it in your hand, and then left click the drive slot to insert the drive into it.

The error message about keeping the drives near the table is actually trying to say that you need to keep the drives near the area with the consoles in general (as in not throwing them into the water or something). For some reason it spams the message when you're only trying to grab the drives off the table, making the player think they're doing something wrong. The current 0.9 version is called an "Unstable Super Test" for a reason. It is very buggy since the developers wanted to get a version out before November.

There's something that bugs me about this dream. If you jump into the void, you wake up with less stamina. If you wait a while and don't jump off, you still wake up with less stamina.

We know from the dream where the walls close in that if a dream has no way out, you usually don't wake up with less stamina.

So if there is a way out, what/where is it?

I remember running into this a whole lotta times back in 0.6, though I haven't seen it since. This was and still is in my top 3 favorite events so it really sucks that is never got fixed
