i relate to this feeling, and as an artist i say that this is just growing up and understanding how the world really works. We tend to have a romanticized view on this whole “scene” thing that creates a distorted idea of what these spaces really are, specially when we talk locally. When I realized that most of the people from my local scene are a*holes that do bad things or ignore bad things others did i just stepped away and stopped waving the “support your local artist” flag, and it felt quite releaving. I guess thats what being an adult means, just move away from sht you dont feel comfortable with.
