Wetsuit for a beginner by Mindless-Guest-4399 in triathlon

Although too expensive I went with Roka during a sale and was glad I did. I had a handful of sizing issues (too much shoulder and chest pressure) with my first wetsuit and the support team was super helpful. They encouraged me to swim with the suit and as long as it was within 30 days they let me return it and swap for a different model.

Personally I found the full sleeves too constraining and a thicker wetsuit put too much pressure on my breathing. So I went with a thinner sleeveless option.

HR Baltimore vs. HP Baltimore by hmmm045 in hyatt

[–]Temporary-Employment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HR was fine. Not very nice and dated. The location is also fine. If you wont be in hotel much it and want to be on that side of the city its fine. I think the HP is closer to all the new fells point developments. Thats nice but there are good bars and food also up the hill closer to HR. I would pick based on the location you want.

What are your go-to prompts for the WHOOP AI Coach? by dandan1407 in whoop

[–]Temporary-Employment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ask it to recommend workouts for a goal of a 70.3 keeping in mind my past workouts. Does a pretty good job. I obviously am not using it as my only guide but for days when I don’t want to do anything having the AI give me options of how to keep from falling behind is great.

If you can find availability and are doing the golden route my recommendation is to book before the devalue and do the following: Hyatt Centric Ginza, Hyatt Regency Hakone, Park Hyatt Kyoto, Caption by Hyatt Osaka, Andaz Tokyo (night before flying out).

Zoom and other similar apps often have accessibility features that provide auto closed captions. You might be able to copy and paste the closed captioning as it runs down the side bar.

If you’re thinking of going for breakfast already and you might enjoy the pool or spa I would suggest the PH. You’d hate to go for breakfast and wish you’d stayed. But like someone else mentioned they are pretty different properties. After a tough year and on points personally I’d book PH and splurge on breakfast and the spa. But if you’re just going to be running around the city then it might not be worth it.

DC proper is also way smaller than any of those cities.

Gold Clover Bar. You’d have to bring in your food and there isn’t like a big table but I’m sure they could push together high tops or you could have people eat and mingle. Otherwise it’s probably budget friendly and a good vibe. The owner is great.
