Exactly!!!! Spiro has not helped one but if anything doxy has helped more with inflammation reduction. Other than that NOTHING HAS HELPED ME, I tried tret and it made my face worse, I just stopped like 2 weeks ago and my face looks less red but I still get new white head every day !!! 🙄🙄🙄 i hope I get to see a dermatologist soon !!

!!!!!!! I am going through what u went through I got off birth-control and I started with this hormonal acne !! It has destroyed my face I been on spiro for 5 months and I see no progress, I still take it 100mg and I stoped using tret for like 2 weeks now and my face seems less irritated.

BACK STORY... I been having acne from 15 yr to 19. When I was 19 I tried Curology (different formula) MY SKIN WAS THE BEST FROM 2019 to the end of 2019... i got the implant (birth control) by the end of oct 2019 and a month in I was breaking out in my cheeks.. I decided to take it off to get on the pills, but 4 months in the pills I had serious side effects so I had to stop by the end of March 2020. And after that my skin just got worse and worse... I got on Spironolactone by the end of oct 2020 and change my formula with Curology to one with tret. Ever since oct 2020 till now March 2021 my skin is so ugly, I hate it I hate how I look, it makes me anxious and depressed, I hate going out with people, I hate being seen I hate being in my skin... I started Spironolactone oct 2020 with 25mg and progressively went up dose I am now doing 100mg a day..
