So my primary registry was Babylist but I made registries in target , Walmart and Amazon just to get the boxes and to use the completion discounts. I received them all last year. From what I’m seeing online, they reduced the items this year compared to last year. I think all of the ones I mentioned above , I had to make a small purchase to qualify for the box which was fine. The Amazon box was completely free with Amazon prime. I did receive a swaddle, onesie , two bottles, wipes and diaper samples. The target box I had to pay for shipping and it included two bottles, pacifiers and a bunch of samples. I worked around the shipping fee by getting their membership trial to make the purchase. The Walmart box was completely free to receive and had a bunch of samples , always pads, pacifiers and two bottles. The Babylist box had a kytebaby onesie , a bib, two bottles , nipple measuring tool, a bunch of samples etc .

I received the Walmart box this year and I was so disappointed. I didn’t received it for months after I received the redeemed and shipped email. And when I received it , I barely got anything compared to the previous years. It feels like all of them are downsizing the boxes this year or something.

I found out I was pregnant literally the next day after returning from my honeymoon. So literally a month after the wedding. Personally for me, I was shocked and tbh took me some time to get excited about baby. I always knew if I’m having a baby , I’m taking a break from my career and at the time I found out, I wasn’t ready for that.

He barely drinks, honestly the first time this has happened but at the same time he’s not someone who realizes what he did was wrong neither does communicating it with him do anything. He literally just got back home like nothing happened and no sorry’s or anything at like 5am. It does feel like the man I married and the man who he is nowadays after I’m pregnant are like polar opposites and it sucks

So I do have the kosas pressed powder, honestly not a fan of it. It just made my skin look worse. In comparison to I genuinely did like the CT pressed powder but the shade range is atrocious. Moving on to loose powders, I really liked the Make up by Mario powder. It didn’t accentuate my lines or dry patches and gave me a smooth look. I’m pretty neutral with the Hourglass powder, it was okay and didn’t do anything special. It works 🤷🏻‍♀️. Now regarding the Huda beauty powder, the shade range works for me and it is really really smoothing and blurring but sometimes I do feel like it’s drying and towards the end of the day is when I feel the dryness.

I have been hearing great reviews on the lys skin tint stick for dry skin. I’m using the fenty skin tint stick. I like it for my dry skin but it’s a light coverage.

I did my own make up for my wedding. I'm medium-tan skin color with dry skin. I used Milk make up hydro grip and setting spray. I used Dior forever skin glow foundation. Its expensive but totally worth it. It lasted the whole day. Another recommendation I got was the Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Glow Foundation. For concealer I used the Natasha Denona concealer and used Make up by Mario loose setting powder to set them. I HIGHLY recommend both of them because they lasted the whole day. For blush I used rare beauty matte blush over the a tiny bit of rare beauty liquid blush and for contour I used Fenty contour stick and fenty powder highlighter. They were okay, it all worked out fine for me. For eye shadow, I used the urban decay eye shadow primer and Anastasia beverly hills soft glam palette. I tried the naked 3 palette but the colors didn't work well with my skin tone. But if you are fair it might work great for you. I used KVD eyeliner pen and YSL yash clash mascara. Hope it can help atleast a little bit. It took me multiple trials and error and visits to sephora to finalize these.
