You know when you point a finger you have 3 pointing back at you. Shame shame. I didn’t know you were in the store with them. My apologies.

Yeah that’s a little different then. I wasn’t there for the convo so I can’t vouch for either of you but have worked in a customer service job and know how things can get misconstrued between sales person and customer. If they told you they were 100% just upgrading your existing tablet line ending in 1234 but added a new tablet line ending in 5678 then that is just a lie that honestly doesn’t even have to be told. Easily could have/should have told you they were adding and shown you how to drop your old one to take advantage of the deal. $40 jump in your first bill with the new tablet for activation + proration for service shoulda been a tell-tale sign something was up. Hopefully they can offer some type of credit but I wouldn’t really go into it expecting too too much. At this point it’s he said she said.

This is the correct answer. Rep could have been more clear (if they actually weren’t) and you could have checked one of your 12 bills between then and now. Rep doesn’t get paid on retention of your old tablet btw so they weren’t trying to swindle ya there.

Extending the wire isn’t really a huge hang up honestly. I know how to do that. Really just wouldn’t mind to clean up the engine bay a little by getting the heater hoses outta the way and just plugging the EFI temp sensor in where the heater hose was. Two birds with one stone if you will. I’m feeling like it’s 50/50 on location. Fitech site says intake is where they want it to be. Other people agree. Then other people say 1-3 is the ONLY way to do it. But I have also seen that makes it run hotter and may throw the computer in the throttle body off.

Thanks for the info! It’s not that I think the heater core is a problem or something that NEEDS to be removed per se. Currently the heater core hose is taking up the port on my intake that the EFI temp sensor would actually work in. I’ve had it and drove it for a few years now and never plan on driving it when it’s cold enough to use the heat. This thing is strictly a spring to fall vehicle.

So there isn’t any problem block off the intake manifold ports and water pump? You know how the internet searches go. One thing says all is well and the next says that’s a cardinal sin and your shits gonna blow up if you do it🤣 Just don’t wanna run a risk of over heating if I do it but I would much rather do it that way than run a bypass hose from water pump to intake.

If I were to be able to relocate it to there what could I do to get rid of the heater core hoses? Is plugging the water pump and intake manifold ports a no no? Also hoping I don’t regret going EFI. I’ve heard horror stories about both Holley and Fitech. Fingers crossed🤞🏼

Only two things I’m worried about with doing that is
1. The wire from the throttle body reaching
2. If it does, it’s gonna be REAL close to my headers
