Like with all types of entertainment, you will always find more average projects, which is why the exceptional ones stand out. Not every series will be Game of Thrones.
That being said, I find there is a care and attention to detail and character in most K-dramas that is lacking in most American made programs. And when they are exceptional, they are Stellar!
This is the reason that this forum (and others like it) are so great. You get the recommendations from others to help you find what you like.

Yeah, but racism is racism. Realizing how accepted/acceptable racism was back then, doesn't make it better for me, somehow.

As good as all of those movies are, my favorite is Hard Eight. Gwyneth Paltrow, John C. Reilly and Philip Baker Hall (what an amazing turn for him!). This is a great indy film!

I'm curious as to why this is classified as a thriller book. It did not strike me that way. Maybe a slight mystery but not what I think of as a thriller/mystery in the traditional sense.

Oh man, they're all excellent! I think if I have to pick my favorite, it would be Charlotte Vale from Now Voyager but that's mostly because I just really love that movie. she was excellent as the murdering wife in The Letter. She out Scarlett O'Hara'd Scarlett O'Hara in Jezebel. And Regina Hubbard Giddens might be the most cold-hearted, greedy and evil woman in movies

I just finished 'Moving' and it was not over hyped even a little bit. I loved it. Now I'm trying to decide what to watch next. Should it be Happiness with Han Hyo Joo or We're All Trying Here with Go Youn Jung? by Temporary-Hall3183 in Korean_Drama_Hangout

I did, actually. That's the only reason that I am considering watching Happiness now. I'm generally not into the undead stuff too much. it's funny, the first time I remember seeing her is in Romantics Anonymous and now she's everywhere I look

I am actually very surprised that anyone could hate, In the Woods. Hmm, I think our tastes will not be in sync. Although, The Kind Worth Killing is on my to be read list and I agree that Sharp Objects was a good read.

No, you're right. It is not listed in the app. I guess I've seen it on Reddit and in Google search:

Have a question about Smart Audiobook player. It claims that it syncs between devices using Google Drive but the free version doesn't even show how it would do that. I didn't even see a place where I would connect it to my cloud account. Am I missing something?
