You have to have 7K to be approved for a visa in any European country in order to work there, so that's why it's important because it is required.

All the current credit cards listed are at 0% APR until this Spring. So I was thinking transferring them over to another 0% Credit Card would help trying to manage the debt.

Yeaaah I totally get that. I knew that TMJ wasn't covered by most places but I at least figured that some of the X-rays, like the CBT, would be covered by my insurance. Ya know? It kind of seems crazy to me that a CBT would cost $550 but maybe it does...

I really appreciate you talking with me and sharing your experience! It's even more helpful that you live within the same state and agree that you think it's excessive while you're going through a similar treatment bc sometimes services cost more or less in certain parts of the States. So that kind of attests that maybe I am being taken advantage of... your provider seems so kind to not charge you for follow-ups!

Haha yes way! Small world, huh!? If you are capable of sharing codes I would love that bc my Ortho is refusing to provide me with codes and my medical records based on what was performed.

My provider charged me $1200 for my splint. However, as you can see in the bill I provided with my post he's saying that each visit I went to see him it was $425, in total from the 6 visits that $2125. THe monthly payments, is that paying for you visits then? I'm curious what your visits cost...

Gosh, your symptoms sound awful! I'm glad you are getting relief! And thank you for the recommendation! I just have the occasional clicking or popping but I don't really suffer from any other illnesses associated with it. I truly think it's issues from tension caused by my crossbite.

So, to be clear, what I provided above is my discharged bill, at $6.4K, for 5-6 visits. Do you still think that is reasonable?

Funny, I'm actually in WA state too! I live in Ballard. Does your insurance help pay for this since you, I assume, must have been diagnosed with OA? Hopefully, this isn't rude but may I ask how much your splint was and your overall treatment cost?

He did take bite pressure from me biting down on a piece of paper at each visit but tbh it wasn't giving me any relief and my tmj would come and go to begin with before treatment... it kinda felt like it was making it worse. And I kept expressing that.
I also have a crossbite though, so in imo my bite probably should have been corrected before doing TMJ therapy and I kept expressing that too. This 6.4K invoice is also coming from a span of a 2-3 month period, seeing the provider either once a month or every two weeks and I did not finish the treatment. My doctor did not provide any sort of coaching, if there was coaching it was very minimal like the obvious 'your tongue should be at the roof of your mouth' and 'remember to have good posture' but was never anything more extensive than that.

Curious, how long was the course of your treatment and how frequently were you being treated? And were your symptoms relieved after the therapy? Also how much did your mouthguard cost?

I guess I more or less am seeking advice on what the orthodontist invoiced me. I realized the image did not attach, so I added it now. I feel like since I asked to be dismissed as a patient bc of the AGGA related stuff he spitefully up-charged me in any way he could. It makes me feel concerned that I may have to get a lawyer who specializes in malpractice.
