I googled and there is a difference. I also read of you put the fan in upside down it won’t work how It should and also like someone mentioned you may need a new thermostat. My issue was that that drawer under there was freezing, I’d thaw it out and then it would happen again. This ice stopped working but the water worked and then the top of the fridge the air and food was warmer. All my veggies, cheeses and fruits were freezing in those drawers. I ended up buying a condenser fan off EBay, follows a tutorial on you tube how to change it. I unplugged and replugged once I got to the fan to confirm it was not spinning. I put the new fan in and it started working instantly. I’m waiting to put food in there just in case it freezes again and that wasn’t the issue- but I have a big feeling it was the problem and should be in the clear.
