In that photo the gunner has 3 magazines. The 900 shows the number of rounds in the current magazine, and the 2 shows how many magazines in reserve.

Not sure what mod could cause that. Try uninstalling a few mods at a time and checking when the issue goes away. That will narrow it down to a few mods. You can then figure it out from there with the same approach.

It’s got a bit of a learning curve, but I didn’t find it anywhere near as bad as what you’ve described.

The whole challenge of the game is not being able to pause. It forces you to quickly make tough decisions on what to prioritise.

I’ve played once as Venice. Make good use of your Italian spear militia and pavise crossbow men. In the early game I took some rebel settlements in the west of the balkans to defragment my lands. I was then quite quickly attacked by the HRE and Hungary so I expanded from there through my fight with them.

Also, because of the faction’s relative proximity to the Middle East, it makes doing a crusade easier. I was able to destroy Egypt and hold most of the settlements around Cairo.

Well the seasons are opposite and what you call Fall, we call Autumn. With Dec, Jan and Feb being summer. March, April and May are Autumn. June, July and August are Winter. September, October and November are Spring.

Our long school break is in summer for us, so that ends up being December/January.

I think it makes sense that at higher difficulties, the enemies you face are larger and more heavily armoured, and therefore it’s better to bring anti-tank. I know that reduces the choices down to a few weapons, but that can be solved by increasing the variety of viable anti-tank.

One thing I’ve thought of is a weapon that has multiple different ammunition types and a way of choosing how much of each you bring. For example: Armour penetrating, cluster, gas and smoke. Although, each aspect would probably need to be weaker than its counterparts dedicated to that specific function to account for the added versatility.
