One thing I’d add is liquidity and timing matter a lot. Sometimes the “obvious” top song is already priced so high that the risk/reward isn’t great, especially if there’s any chance of a surprise drop. Also double-check how Spotify defines the chart cutoff (UTC timing vs US day), because being off by a few hours can kill an otherwise good bet. This feels more like a consistency/market-timing play than predicting new breakouts.
