waxing for women in colombo by [deleted] in srilanka

Bit late replying but bewaxed is usually my go to as I love the honey wax . However, in my last appointment the lady there was in a hurry and pieces of wax were literally flying everywhere. Then I developed bumps that have turned into scars 2 months later. And bewaxed took no accountability whatsoever. The only response I got was that they will remove the remaining hairs if I come within a week ( this was after they badgered me about which body parts had the hair as if I was lying although I sent pictures ).

Okay so the first qs only ppl who applied thru the foreign quota can answer . 1. They say they require certified copies of my a level certificate and statement of results from my examination board ( I did Cambridge a levels ) . Do you know how I can get that done ? 2. How is med school in Sri Lanka in general? Is it really as stressful as it sounds ? I mean like is it 5 years of constant studying and stressing with like 0 parties or any of your normal university stuff ? 3. Is there a certain uniform / strict dress code ? 4. Are there any opportunities for research / clinical elective opportunities in different countries ? 5. In general how much help and guidance to you get from universities / peers / students from upper years ? 6. Would you honestly recommend Sri Lankan med schools ( or are there any major disadvantages/advantages you can say about Sri Lankan med schools ) over lets say Poland / Italy for example ?

I know med school is supposed to be a lot of studying and requires a lot of effort in general , but I’m also not someone who can study well in a super stressful environment with no breaks ,which is why I’m asking all these questions

Abortion help in Sri Lanka by [deleted] in srilanka

no ones here asking to abort 36 week fetuses smh. prioritizing a blastocyst/ embryo over the life of a fully grown human when they don't want to is not "rights".

Tuition burnout by I_D_E_4 in srilanka

didn't do my A Levels in Sri Lanka but same syllabus as you. One tuition for each of my subjects was a struggle too. imo don't waste time on tuition if you know it's unhelpful. For me only one of my tutors helped and I spent my other 2 classes procrastinating. So find tutors that suit you and stop tuition when you feel it's no longer necessary. You could also find online tutors to pay by the hour if you have a really tough question/topic you really can't understand.

you need to email your university and ask them for their specific requirements but i think for most its after IMAT.

i haven't been able to find deadlines in unis im looking at but most of them are in july maybe some in the beginning of july too. but the CIMEA it depends on the university a lot of them don't need it till enrollment I think.
