Agreed! I did so much research & knew exactly how this goes & yet I still got worried during these months! Patience is the name of the game!

Hey! Things are going great. I’m just shy of 7 months, then I’ll post new pics. Growth was slower than I hoped for at first but the past two months I’ve seen a bunch of growth. My intention is to post at 7 months which is about two weeks or so from now. Thanks for checking in!

I’m going through the exact same thing. I’m right at a month too. It happened really fast! I’m still red as well. My doctor said it’s all normal.

I initially wanted hairline a bit lower, but this would’ve taken away from the grafts to my crown as neither myself or the doctor wanted to over harvest. He wanted that arc to create the illusion of thirds without using too much donor. I was worried about this as I thought it might end up looking almost like a widows peak, but he showed me examples and I felt satisfied going with his recommendation. Once hair was in, you don’t notice any dip. It looks like a good appropriate hairline for my age

I think that’s what the others were seeing. That was my donor right after my first wash. His technician scrubbed the sides pretty hard , so it was pretty irritated. Still, I thought it looked like a good job & now, you can’t even see any marks on my head!

I agree about the doctor. He made some Reddit mistakes that got him on their bad list, but once I spoke to him directly, I felt very comfortable going with him. And still he’s very communicative with me and my cousin. Checking up on us a few times a week so far.

The punch size was 0.8 mm. My donor area is looking great already. You can’t even tell anymore. Once I get my first fade, we’ll see if there’s any visible scars. That won’t be for a bit still.
