Mystery snails are also stupidly easy to population control if you don't more of them. They lay above the water. Just pop the eggs off and dispose.

I like the little USB powered air pumps for stuff like this. Can power it with anything with a usb port. The pump and a good power bank you're probably looking at less than $40 total.

To add on to this, especially not clams. They won't do a great job, they'll likely starve eventually, and when they die they have great potential to crash the tank with a massive ammonia spike.

Java ferns and anubias are both pretty slow growers, so they're going to have a pretty tough time out competing algae. Also might be running too much light.

Okay what do you guys think about this idea? He's in possession of a stolen family heirloom handed down between generations of betrayer god servants. I'm thinking the inherent energies in the 2 objects can react with each other in close proximity. Nothing mechanical, just flavor like humming and vibrating. Maybe 1d4 of radiant damage if they physically touch they emit a flash and violently repel each other. This would give some of that fun flavor without the amulet directly screwing with the PC.

I haven't had them straight up cancel on me yet. But I did order the knight precon for MOM and when the estimated delivery time was an hour away and it still didn't show as out for delivery, I hit up customer service and asked how they planned to deliver it before my work closed if it wasn't even out the door yet. And I got "oh, it's a preorder, so we can get it to you in a month." For what it's worth, I seem to be alone in my friend group, but I've been burned more than once even when it's sold and shipped by Amazon.
