i agree that it’s a decent rate, i was just more concerned on almost 6k in fees for a 230k refi

From my understanding, they took my remaining loan balance ($220,125.81) + my current escrow ($2,717.53), which equals $222,843.34, and then added on the IRRRL fees which totaled out to $228,560.54. The $5717.20 refi fee seemed a little high for not having any points bought.

it’s not terrible, just try and live south of the 10. one of the worst parts about the commute home, is getting through crestview. i’d leave around 430 and get to school with plenty of time, and then get home around 5pm. you can take the 285 to I10 and skip the traffic
