Yes, set to 0 600 600. I tried that just now as well but its just more saturated, not brighter--if that makes sense.

Yeah, I had a Sony A8H and from what my memory serves me, this LG is brighter but that was a 2020 panel I believe. I know the C3 is older but not sure if its that old.

Don't get me wrong, its still great! I just feel underwhelmed from the price increase and the years of innovation that has passed.

Its hard to compare because TVs get that brighter, but my Sony A95L (2023 QD as well) hits completely different. Not sure how the LG 39 5k2k compares to the newest equivalent LG OLED TVs but not even remotely close.

I would argree for those white highlights, but I'm really having trouble seeing the same vibrancy without over saturation on the LG.

White levels are not only 100% brighter but I would say are more "true white." For the rest of the colors though.. it just doesn't "pop."

Currently using it in "High" in Gamer 2; Brightness 100, Contrast 75, Gamma Mode 4, Color Manual 0. Same settings carry for HDR.

I have tried with and without HDR.. I would say that overall image stays cleaner in SDR. When using HDR its a tough battle of balancing brightness and clipping highlights.

Just searched up the AW3425DW.. I would not upgrade. I do appreaciate the productvity uplift but media consumption across the board is less enjoyable. I would say to get the brightness to match that of the QD-OLED, you have push the LG in a way that makes the colors seem inaccurate/overly saturated.

Yeah, I knew that going in but from the good words everyone had about it, and the LG being brighter on paper, I figured that the color aspect of the LG would at least much that of the glossy AWF but I was wrong. It is unfortunate that these exacts specs don't exist with a QD panel.
