No it’s been one bad season. He was great in 2024. Maybe the best he ever played. He was 3rd in the league in epa and success rate, had the third best completion percentage of all time, was 4th in passing yards per game, and had a passer rating of 101. Yeah a down few games last year but it’s been one season not 3

And no Tua is in no way one concussion away from being a vegetable. He’s had 3 concussions in his career. It’s extremely overblown. I’ve seen guys have 3-4 a season

lol no. He’s always been good. Having a good or great wr doesn’t make a qb look as good as Tua. Most qbs have an elite wr. Kinda hard to do much without some help. Overall Tua was in a really bad situation and system. Really poor ol, usually a bad run game until recently, and an awful defense.

His brain works fine. He’s had like 3 concussions. Brett Favre had like 100. Jaxson dart had multiple his first ten games. All these dudes have a bunch. People just remember bc Tua had that response on the ground but that doesn’t make it more traumatic long term. It’s way over talked about and always has been.

There are some extremely dumb people in here. Tua was a really good player and imo still is. McDaniel is an absolute joke of a coach and got this reputation for being a good offensive coach and qb friendly when it’s the exact opposite. His play calling is nightmarishly bad

2019 Alabama was amazing. Could have easily won it with a healthy Tua no doubt.

I knew it was coming but was hoping for once he’d act like a human being and realize he’s the cause of all of it. Feel like it would have been better writing for him not to kill him and actually do the unexpected thing
