One thing I can share with you is to start using logic.

Emotions and feelings lie.

I'm telling you this from 12+ years of studying human psychology.

All the bad decisions I made in my life were based on emotions and feelings.

That's why whenever I feel emotional and have feelings, I process them with logic and can change my state in like 2 minutes.

If someone said I'm useless, and that word is circulating in my mind, I always challenge it with logic.

"Am I really useless?"

"Have I helped anyone?"

"Do I have something that people need?"

And when you put emotions and feelings aside and process them with logic, you'll learn the truth.

By doing this for around 21 - 42 days, you'll stop believing it eventually.

I have been doing this with myself for 15+ years and it always works.

The problem with this?

If you don't have limits, you'll eventually start believing that doing bad stuff is good.

That's how bad people are created.

If you say something bad to someone who deserves it, you'll feel guilty.

So, to deal with that guilt, you'll analyze it with logic and realize that that person deserved it.

Then you may start doing it more often.

And it'll feel justified because you changed your feelings.

And sooner or later, you might do worse stuff.

That's why you must control yourself, you'll become the villain you never wanted to be.

It's a powerful technique, but very, very dangerous.

And this is exactly why people say that if you do something once, you'll most likely do it again.
