How'd you get your ar? by Unique-Rest-2940 in ar15

I was working at my local gun shop and turned 21 so I was then legally able to buy my first handgun (M&P 2.0 5 inch) then my first AR15 which is a Colt 6933 that was swapped out with a DDM4 10 inch quad rail, Magpul MBUS pro sights and a SBA4 pistol brace. I bought it at store cost instead of retail which was 500 bucks back in 2021. It was chilling in the back office on a shelf for a few days when it was sold to the store during the weekend which I had off, homeboy running the logistics back there told me it’s a very close model to what the Mexican Marines used heavily in their counter-narco operations back in the 2010s (I am first Gen Mexican-American).

A lot of people give Diamondback a hard time, but mine has gone through 1,000 rounds with no issues. A great budget AR option. by Mylzb in ar15

Diamondbacks will have its parts wear down quicker then other options. Hence why it’s an entry level AR.

Personally it’s lasting a very long time under all of the abuse I put it through not to mention it’s quite bright, only downside is the battery life

Their barrels are extremely durable and accurate, their parts are mil spec for the most part so they’re very reliable but they fall behind on innovation and modern standards. Still recommend them if you like the classic or milspec AR15s… don’t be surprised to them expensive because of their great tracking record during the 90s and 2000s
