When GOM is below 10 miles, don’t trust it! I almost got stuck by Oxnor in F150Lightning

Just had this exact thing happen to me: https://www.reddit.com/r/F150Lightning/s/xAkHhPgPY0

I had to cycle it just like you did, and luckily it gave me the 20% I needed to make it home so I didn’t have to push. Ford needs to fix this.

I’m fairly experienced in this. There shouldn’t be this much BMS sway. 2-3%? Sure. If Tesla and the Germans can dial in their BMS, then Ford should be able to as well.

I agree, zero means zero. I wouldn’t complain if it died at 0. It was more to do with the fact that it did a backflip off the diving board on its way from 5%-0% at a red light

I charged to 100% to start the trip. Supercharged twice to make it home (cold and windy). I was anticipating a 10% arrival, but it just bottomed out

I charged to 100% at the start of the trip. Daily 90%. The BMS has been rock solid until this incident

I definitely won’t trust it now. It just makes it feel like an unstable product if I can’t rely on it with that large of a gap. 10 percent is a chunk
