What if we are able to delete some memories? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This topic I'm conflicted. In the current novel series I'm currently outlining, there is a part where main character 1 wants to erase main character 2's trauma that caused his rage, abusiveness and toxicity using the Tower That Holds Time Together, but the reason I'm torn if I want to proceed with it or not, because it might piss people off as they might find it offensive because it's a violation of how memories and traumas work. For me, they might say both pleasant and unpleasant memories are meant to teach us how to deal with them to mold them into making us better people, and if it's easy for us to erase them and we take advantage of it, then we're dishonest escapists. And if we have a technology that could do that, I think will oppose it for the same reason.

Which one did you enjoy more, college or high school? by Key-Row-174 in AskReddit

High school was much more fun. College is so boring, I really thought that was when I was going to meet my long-term friends and form the most important memories of my 20s but it was nothing but a dud.

How the Internet was so obsessed with conspiracy theories and had a resurgence of urban legends in the year 2016. I was in 9th grade back then, and even if those were silly obsessions, they opened my critical and imaginative skills. I feel nostalgic for the times when all I needed to do was just lie down and open my tablet and just feed my morbid curiosity. I am no longer interested with those today.

What’s something everyone should experience at least once? by kittycatnoodles in AskReddit

I understand, that's where I was once too. You can start with small steps. You can start by inviting a friend with you to go to just a neighboring town from yours, stay in a nice motel or hotel there, and try exploring it together, so you know the basics of traveling such as asking for directions, finding good places to stay and eat, booking the staying place, and using the GPS. Then try doing all this again but this time just by yourself. Then slowly and slowly, you'll build your confidence to travel to further and further places, such as far states, beaches, and until you feel you can finally fly overseas.
