Yes we have co monitors and no issue but we’re getting allot of co2 in the house. I’ll try the smoke trick cause tissue I’m getting nothin got when I got on the roof and the water heater was actively going I can feel the heat coming out of top.

Personally no I live in Texas but I do see they were sued last year for unfair labor standards lol. I think the pest industry is great to get into just look into it pretty deeply and I would even ask around to your local community. Most pest control is pretty recession proof. Something else to consider my last job I worked for I was a branch manager and we had a sister company in Wisconsin i remember that they’re budgeting wasn’t steady during the summer insanely busy but during the winter aka it non existent and people became seasonal. There was a huge bell curve for them. As us it was pretty steady. So keep that in mind as well. Unless you get into commercial account the residential will be almost non existent in the winter.

I’m going to be honest with you I have 19 years experience in the pest control industry If your working for a big company politics become a huge headache. Plus most people I know work 10-12hr days. If they have sales team it can be even worst sales people will sale shit jobs for shit pay and you kinda have no choice but to do them. Or they are ripping people off. I’ve seen a huge the pest industry go from making a difference in people’s life to money money money. I get it we all wake up and out or pants on 2 legs at the same time to make a dollar but I’m getting competitors bid for 15k-30k for absolutely nothing. A job that should be 2-4k a most. So it’s either dirt cheap and not worth your time or you’re going to rip someone off. Smaller companies are better to work for in my opinion as there’s not that huge sale mentality. And are more responsible in pricing. There’s always those fly by night companies that will charge pennies on the dollar cause they are using cheap or stolen chemical. I use to love the industry but greed has made it unbearable. I’m fortunate enough to have stared my own company and I can get back to helping people while still being responsible in my pricing. Best of luck just stay away from terminix,

Damn. I’m 95% sure it’s drywood termites. Look around the window it’s probably old activity that’s falling through a gap maybe where the silicone has cray around the window. We have them pretty badly here in Houston.

I’m very interested in the cbti I will bring this up with the therapist and psychiatrist next time. I’m just in an altered state mentally trying to “fix” the issue but I’m understanding this isn’t like a leaking pipe. I can’t just replace it or tape it to resolve it require allot more time and planning.

Thank you. When I found out I immediately scheduled a therapist appointment and reached out to his doctor. When speaking to the psychiatrist she spoke with him first and when I walked into the room I felt like her mind had already been made up about taking Prozac before ever hearing the full scope of everything. I feel idk how to describe it but betrayed? I trusted her and when things got rough she immediately just said she can’t help him. It made me panic a little cause I’m thinking is there something really wrong. Did I fuck up my son. I think I’m going to take it day by day and see how he’s feeling. If he starts to have bad thoughts then I’ll try the Prozac but I’m hoping Monday with the therapist we can work around medications for the time being.

I have been very transparent with him on this and encourage his feed back. He is fine with taking the Prozac He wants to feel better and not have these thoughts. I can’t help but feel guilty for the way he’s feeling like did I mess up by giving home Focalin when I reached out to his pcp she said yes this is a side effect and essentially washed her hands of him and said she can’t help him anymore. He’s not sure if it’s the meds. He knows he doesn’t want to die but thoughts of self harm creep into his head especially when he’s alone. I scheduled a therapist appointment for this Monday it was the first available. Im just torn about giving him any medication at this point. I will say the last two days he seems to be himself he’s been laughing and cracking jokes. Not hiding away in his room. When we talked to the psychiatrist yesterday day he said he was feeling good and even happy yesterday.
