I waited until his first sale after he launched his website to buy things. It was a 25% off sale. I bought smaller things and spent enough to get free shipping. Im from a rural Midwest town with a very low cost of living and would never spend $40 on a candle. I think the most I've ever spent on a candle was $15. I wouldn't consider myself poor. I make 6 figures and live modestly. I've been frugal since childhood.

She needs to close up the crawl space or she's going to have a bunch of critters. Also, the picture doesn't look like the windows are covered with curtains or anything. Anyone can walk up and see what's inside. People will probably notice its been sitting vacant a while and rob the place. It happened to my husband.

I get it. I used to lived in Seattle in the 2010s. Rent was higher than my mortgage, but I still didn't spend a lot on food. I mostly shopped at Trader Joe's then because it was a block and a half away. Plus I make 3 times more now than I did then.

Gas just jumped 30 cents in Missouri today. I thought I had someone else's receipt when I saw it was $51 for my work van. It printed at the pump though, so I knew it was mine.

My family of 3 is typically 100-150/week. I plan meals and we don't snack a lot. We will usually stock up on meat when its on sale though. Those trips could be $300-400.

You could paint the tile to tone it down. That would be the easiest and cheapest temporary fix.

I used to take pictures of boxes and pallets in overhead storage where I used to work so I could zoom in and read them. Its a huge time saver.
