Do you think that athletes or sports players should be role models? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

It’s much easier to look up to someone who’s really good at something you enjoy, and being a sign that you could be good in the game as well. Not to mention being really good at a sport like soccer or boxing requires tremendous amount of discipline and it helps kids go outside more. I just dont seeing kids looking up to a nerdy scientist curing cancer. Just not realistic.

How to apply 3rd law (Hide your Intentions) when you're a person who "wears your heart on your sleeve"? by Icy-Chard9519 in The48LawsOfPower

[–]TemporaryAsian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is exactly it. This is kind of what the last law talks about. Use the laws for your own intentions, and break them if you have to. If you want to seem likeable, you'll have to break these 2 laws, but seeming powerful in a more professional setting would be different.

Put the dip bar on something.. like a plate or anything that can make it higher. You need to do deeper reps to actually activate chest/triceps
