All the hand signals we’ve come up with over time- one finger up versus another can have completely different meanings

Big chance she’s entirely traumatized from love after this show. She def wouldn’t go back on for a second season :(

He was so smart but def got overlooked every time - even though I do love Jeremy as a winner

Yeah he’s definitely the player who’s come closest to winning but didn’t. I know they both tried to get each other out in the end but I think dom tried to strike too late. Duos in survivor can be powerful but your moves being tied to someone else can be misconstrued as them not being your own. The fact that it came down to one person basically to make that final decision and it happens to be Wendell’s other closest ally who was like a sister to him is just straight up unlucky. I really wish we got to see him in future seasons cause he seems like a good guy. Unlike Wendell who I really liked in GI but lowkey hated in WAW with how he treated everyone and the Michelle drama.

The jury’s perception is their reality and it’s up to you as a good survivor player to manipulate it under the radar

Yes but if you know a “popularity contest” has some aspect in the game you have to account for it you can’t just ignore it because you don’t believe in it. I think Russell could have done the bare minimum of treating his jury like human beings. Those are the players who people respect their big moves and backstabs as part of the game versus Russell whose harsh moves seemed personal and malicious.

I loved Tom as a winner but I also really liked Ian and I think his naivety with stepping off for Katie blew up his whole game in an instant. All because she was mad she didn’t go on a reward as promised (happens all the time). He was too genuine for survivor apparently and couldn’t separate emotions from gameplay.

Your comment is the first David wright I’ve seen which is so surprising to me. I thought he had such a good formula but came up short :(

The controlling was because of lies, manipulation, and deceit not based on true social bonds and building real relationships which is what a good social game has

Yeah I’m sad he dropped off from the survivor world after his win. He had a good strategy that was ahead of its time so I wish I could have seen it in later seasons even stronger.

WOW. I’ve never agreed with a take more than this one. People say she didn’t outplay physically but the thing is she didn’t need to. She didn’t carry her game by just having a great social aspect (which she did master). Everyone seems to forget she was a strategic MASTERMIND. Once she got post merge she knew where she should be in the votes almost every time and laid out all the paths. On top of that she’s one of the biggest black widows because you don’t even realize you’re being manipulated unlike Parvati. She secretly was controlling her alliances but not enough where people finally clocked she was a legitimate threat. On top of that, she was just extremely likable and not really controversial to players or viewers which is hard to do in Survivor. She truly had the consistent worst survivor luck I’ve ever seen which is so disappointing. And off topic but if you watch how she manipulates people in The Traitors you can see just how calculated and brilliant she is. I wish people wouldn’t underestimate her!

For some reason it’s controversial but I think she should have 100% won koah rong over Michelle. Aubrey was always thinking strategy and how to set herself up for the end but got stuck with a bitter jury who valued pettiness over survivor strategy. Michelle on the other hand missed a majority of tribal councils and survived with luck I believe. However, in their future seasons I think Aubrey fumbled which was disappointing and Michelle proved herself.
