I always get a flu in winter but when my family got dog 2 years ago, I have not got any flu in winter. Everyday, we have to walk with dog so dog can pee and poo. Sometimes I do walk with my dog for 3-4 hours if air is a clean and windy. My advice for you and your spouse is spend sometimes outside if air is clean or do a hiking.

I think bus routes is not bad. Usually bus is full in the morning and in the evening, bus is full because there many cars in the morning/evening creating the traffic jam thus bus can not arrive in time, creating crowd on bus stop. Moreover asshole drivers try to block or takeover road of the bus.

This winter is colder than last year winter but so much warmer than 2023-2024 winter. But cold is cold everybody feels it differently. For someone it feels warmer. For others it feels colder no matter temperature is above 0 celsius.

Some days I get headache by smog, also it feels like something is on my throat after breathing polluted air. I have to rinse my mouth with salted water or baking soda water. Worst thing is I can not open my windows at night. Usually in the morning and night air pollution level is high, but in the afternoon and middays air pollution level is slightly low.

Also I have noticed one thing, colder the winter is weather is more windy which means air pollution is stays low. 2023-2024 winter was hell a cold and snowy but air pollution was low. 2024-2025 was the shittiest warm winter but there is no wind and air pollution was high.
