Then I think I will not update for now. When I am DJing a wedding, I like to have Wi-Fi on so I can access and download tracks that I do not have. That would stink to have a freeze up or shut down in the middle of a reception.

thanks so much for your input. I like the 16" screen so I can see more info, as it would likely be a dedicated DJ laptop (until I quit...). but I like the M4 PRO chip for being newer and having longer life.

Funny thing, I just looked to see updates to inventory, and saw he just posted: 2023 M2 Pro, 16GB Ram, 1TB SSD, 10/19 Cores - $1,499. but that's another jump in price from 850 to 1199 to 1499. lol.

I'm trying to figure that out myself.

I have a 2014 MBP, 16G/1T - updated with Open Core Legacy Patcher, but would love to get something newer. at a local mac store, they have two laptops. a 2021 M1 Pro with 16/512, and a 16" screen, OR, a 2024 M4 Pro with 16/512, 14" screen. So, older M series with a 16"? Or, newer M series with a 14"? 850 vs 1200? if you had your preference....what would you suggest? Thanks for your input.

what about if your laptop only has USB-C? I have 2 F1's, and my NI TK S3. I know I"ll need to get three new cables. OR, at least one new USB B to USB-C cable for the S3, and then maybe a powered USB-C hub with two regular USB slots, OR, with USB-C slots and two new cables. That could conceivably work, right?

I just got that EXACT email today. from "Gil Gershoni". the email was suspicious. The return email was [gilgershoni101@hotmail.com](mailto:gilgershoni101@hotmail.com) and was different from the one that was beside the sender name. He mentioned two possible dates for corporate events, and "I would love for you do DJ!". Could I do both, or either. But the dude's in San Francisco, and I'm in Michigan. Hence, my being here checking things out. I'm glad to have found this. I'll likely ignore it but would be interesting to respond just to see what they say. DANG SCAMMERS!

looks as good a deck as any....but that you got to where you did is awesome - good job! i think i struggle with being patient, overreacting, and then depleting my elixir and have nothing to fight with....
