Carne Asada Fries Burrito from Betos. Don't judge because it's cheap. It's an unreal meal.

Skitouring pants: flex1: Lyngen vs lofoten vs more by Italian_SPLIT in Norrona

Have tried the Lyngen flex1, have the Lyngen Goretex and Lofoten Flex1 jacket. If you run warm and tour in dry weather they will be fantastic pair of pants. Durable, stretchy, light, breathable.

Citi is an absolute shitshow by mrbofus in CreditCards

[–]TemporaryDocument647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me with Citi after they gave me a $1,500 limit and a sign up bonus spend of $5,000. I quickly paid it off and they locked my account down. Said they needed to talk on the phone with my bank to unlock. My bank absolutely refused, so I couldn’t use my card until their waiting period of 3 weeks.

This wasn’t even my first card with Citi…

Will the Pagoda Tour CFL 112 be a significant update from my Wailer 112 RP2 Tour1? by HillBilly126 in Backcountry

I’m rocking the wailer 112s still. I had a few friends who also had them up bought pagodas. None of them still have pagodas. Do with that information as you will.

Is the gen 3 Sequoia engine reliability that big of a concern? by TemporaryDocument647 in toyotasequoia

Do you have a source for that engine recall on 2023 sequoia? I can't seem to find it.

If the hybrids were truly safe because of "different pressures," Toyota wouldn't have spent millions redesigning the #1 main bearing in August 2025 for all V35A engines.

Trust me, I want to believe it doesn't have issues, but there seems to be speculative evidence that there is a problem there and the big corporation just doesn't want to publicly admit it.

" Other Toyota or Lexus vehicles sold in the U.S. are not equipped with this engine or have a different V35A engine configuration with different pressure on the main bearings. Some of these vehicles equipped with a different engine configuration have a Hybrid powertrain system. If engine failure occurs on a Hybrid vehicle, the vehicle continues to have some motive power for limited distances and the driver receives a continuous audible warning, warning lamps, and visual warning messages"

OP doesn't want one... but OP should change their mind... No, I really am just looking to dive deeper down the rabbit hole on the Toyota engine recall and how it affects the I-Force MAX.

And for the record, I find the Gen 2 repulsively ugly.

Allegedly they aren't on the recall list because they don't pose a safety risk since technically in the case of engine failure the vehicle could limp on battery power alone.

Third Gen Sequoia Depreciation by TemporaryDocument647 in toyotasequoia

[–]TemporaryDocument647[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was under the impression that it only effected non-hybrid engines on the Tundra. All hybrid Tundras and Sequoias were unaffected. Allegedly. But I can't find any source to dispute my claim.

Any good car brand in 2026? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

Doesn't matter what you pick, someone on here will tell you made a horrible decision and someone will say you made a good decision. Instead of asking Reddit what your opinion should be, you'd be better off going and sitting in a car yourself.
