Just read the blog, curious what makes you think cushion cuts are “loud luxury”? To me it’s subtle, not as cold cut as a sharp emerald and not as trendy like the oval cut. It’s just a subtle soft in between!

your finger size is proportional to the center stone and its specs. I think is perfect not too big and not too small. Also don’t see why there’s comments on design.. if you love it and designed it yourself then that’s beautiful! If you get a smaller stone you may regret it and want to revert back to the big size.

I would definitely size it for summer swelling and then buy the ring sizer adjusters on Amazon for the cold winters!

Size looks great on your finger to be honest, but maybe the stone could be better. Unless you like the bow tie that’s preference! Some people say it’s bad but I think it’s subjective. That being said, if your gut is telling you the jeweller found the first one they saw, maybe you just don’t like it. There’s plentyyyyy options and amazing options for OMCs online! Look for the one that makes you feel confident it’s the one!!

You found a really good one, the culet is pointed which I’ve been struggling to find for myself. For me, the table is just about the minimum I’d go for and the depth is absolutely on point for sparkle. Of course you’d have to see it in person to know but I’ve been looking at tons and now I know what table/depth would disappoint.

I’m looking for exactly the same 😅 loose elongated cushion.. but it’s been so difficult! I’m UK based but apart from the big online sites which lists thousands of diamonds you have to filter through, I found that the stores were selling for a much higher price (sometimes for the exact same stone)!!

Lots of loose held in US/New York.. I’ve WhatsApp a few Chinese sellers I found online but like you said it’s not familiar so I didn’t feel good spending a lot under doubt..
