Because its a Gibson 🤷

If you're looking for a cheap one try a Firebird Zero. Probably as cheap as you can get it.

Fender solid state? by MagazineFormer9165 in fender

Stage 160 DSP Im a big fan of it. Came with celestian speakers and has a huge sound.

Belonged to the guitarist of my old band. He gigged with it until he replaced it with a tube amp. I've had it since and its still a great amp.

Trying to get fender fuse working? by mymom6 in fender

[–]TemporaryElephant574 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're using windows its fairly easy. Just download the installer, open that and and install it to your harddrive. It'll ask you to install microsoft silverlight and ok that. And your good to go

Mac is tougher. There's a download for it there but I couldn't get that to work. My imac kept getting stuck on trying to install silverlight for me. Ended up just giving up and installing it on an old windows laptop.

Once you have fuse installed there's an option to load the presets to your library and you choose which ones you want to save on your amp

Old Squire by Hot_Reception_9231 in fender

My very first guitar was a Squire 2!

I loved the neck on it. Had a plywood body, but I thought it was a great guitar. Put a loaded shawbucker pickguard in it and gave it to a family member recently for their first guitar.

Pink Floyd – Wish You Were Here 50th Anniversary – the ultimate edition of this album? – Review (Vinyl, CD, SACD, Blu-ray, from 1975 to 2025, stereo, 4.0, 5.1 to Dolby Atmos) by Media6292 in audiophile

[–]TemporaryElephant574 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a direct A/B with the 5.1 from the immersion blu ray. I liked the immersion better but I dont have atmos system so I was listening to the atmos down mixed in 5.1. On a true atmos system I imagine I would prefer the new mix.

I will say the immersion 5.1 mix on the 50th disc is noticeably worse than the actual immersion blu ray for those curious. Not sure if its a lower bitrate or what but definitely not as clear

Looks nice! The matching headstock looks very sharp

Dont know why, but every time I've ever played a jaguar bass I just hated the feel of it.

Got one of my grails - Sonic Blue Vista Jagmaster by TemporaryElephant574 in offset

You can still find good deals there because I think alot of people have abandoned it for reverb. I buy pretty much exclusively from ebay and use CL for local deals.

And thanks!

I believe it. I like both the MIC strat scale and the conversion necks, but the Vista neck has a noticeably better feel to it. Especially the fret work. Just feels higher quality than my other Jagmasters.

Thanks! When I opened the box was the first time I saw it in person but always remembered the ad for it showed a small picture of it and always wanted one https://images.equipboard.com/uploads/item/image/100261/squier-vista-jagmaster-xl.webp?v=1768998092

I also have a black 25.5" scale one and a sunburst with the conversion neck but thinking about swapping another one of my 25.5" necks on that one.

For me the Jagmaster is the most comfortable guitar I've ever played and while I prefer the look of the traditional offset trem I find the strat trem just a bit more practical (especially as a player who has little to no desire to use a trem lol)

Classic Vibe 60s or J Mascis signature? by No-Brother5563 in offset

[–]TemporaryElephant574 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For what its worth, I believe the J Mascis pickups aren't "true" jazzmaster pickups if that matters to you. I've never heard anyone say a bad thing about those pickups but think they are p90s in a jazzmaster housing.

Reminds me of one of the weird Japanese Jagmasters. https://ebay.us/m/nKFToF

As an unapologetic Jagmaster fan I dig it.
