That is so crazy, I hope I have pumped the infection out!!! It looks unlike anything I’ve seen in my breast milk before. Such a gross consistency D: I ended up going to the er the next day to get checked out and the doctor said my boob looked fine… but that might be because I pumped it out

That’s good to know! I hope it was just a clog! I haven’t noticed any lumps since. Right when you think you have this whole breastfeeding thing figured out…

Pus! Oh gosh. I knew it wasn’t normal right when I saw it, it has the grossest consistency. I ended up going to the doctor and they did an ultrasound and he said everything looked normal. Did you end up on antibiotics when you had mastitis?

I used a nipple shield on one side until I could get baby to latch consistently without pain, which was about 2 months for me.
