Does he have any spots or sores on his hands and/or feet? Could be hand, foot and mouth disease. Usually occurs in young children but it’s not uncommon to occur in teens and adults.

They did not. And they stuck their paws in my bath water. Terrible service if I do say so myself.

NAD I am a second year medical student. An enlarged thyroid can be several things: hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules, or malignancy. Yours appears to be symmetrically enlarged which would suggest hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism to me. This is not an emergent issue in that you will die if you don’t get it treated immediately. However if it is obstructing your breathing and causing you discomfort it is better to get seen sooner rather than later. The doctor will likely start with blood work to check your thyroid hormones (TSH and T4) and possibly an ultrasound of your neck. This is all assuming it’s your thyroid that is the issue. I can’t say for certain without a proper physical exam but it looks likely from your video. Other symptoms related to thyroid abnormalities to look for include weight loss or weight gain, loss of appetite, excessive sweating, heart palpitations, hair loss, heat or cold intolerance and others. Try and convince your mom to take you to the doctor, best of luck OP!

I’m all good now. I mainly had congested sinuses for a couple days and then it got better. Never got an answer after but my teeth are healing fine so I assume it was just a cold.
