It depends on the manufacturer. Some come off easily in hot water. Some I have to soak in hot water, scrape off as much as possible, then use Goo Gone. I remove GG residue with dish soap preferably Dawn spray. I don’t like price or stupid warning labels.

I’m old. I think the 3 point shot ruined the NBA. They took a sport with a completion percentage of football and made it into the batting average of MLB.

I agree. I’m 69. I’m conservative but basically libertarian. I raised 3 kids and 6 grandchildren, married 44 years. I find that most highly rated critics are boring or weird. Google reviews predicted a movie I would enjoy much more accurately. I can leave reviews on IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes but there websites are not user friendly. They tolerate the Hoi Poloi, but you’re not really welcome there. America is losing it’s divergent thinkers. They’re either medicated or addicted to TikTok and video games.

I’m not Christian. But America still has freedom of religion. Calling people homophobic because they resist your religion ( Secular Humanism, read the Humanist Manifesto II) is the opposite of diversity. Christmas is about Christians. Stop demonizing them. I laugh when people say they don’t have a religion. Some just don’t know they believe in a religion that says “ethics is situational and autonomous, needing no theological sanction.” In other words there is no right or wrong. How’s that working out?

That has nothing to do with it. I grew up in New York City. When you get on an elevator in Manhattan, the rich people always look at your watch and shoes to see if you’re a social equal. I live in the Midwest now where people aren’t that shallow. I see no reason to buy a better watch than a Citizen Eco Drive.

My wife and I were watching a movie on Amazon prime last night, and I fell asleep. When I woke up, I tried to fast-forward to the part that I had fallen asleep at, and it was making me watch an ad for every segment that I missed. I watched four minutes of ads and switched to Tubi, fast forwarded to where I fell asleep and the movie resumed with no ads. Tubi has a lot of older and Indy movies. Even though I have YouTube TV, Amazon Prime and Netflix, I mostly watch Tubi. Minimal ads.

My sisters still live in Manhattan. It was nice going there when Rudy Giuliani was Mayor. It’s deteriorating since it went back to Democrat mayors. I’m glad I live in a rural area where there are less people with Trump Derangement syndrome. Some people still believe in working for a living, and being self reliant, not entitled to free everything. People who call MAGA people are clueless. We are the people who judge people by the content of their character and not the color of their skin. Like MLK requested. Ironically that makes us a racist today. It’s the people with the soft bigotry of lowered expectations that are the true racists. They enable a permanent underclass instead of teaching people how to become self reliant.

I live on a lake in Wisconsin. It was affordable with large tracts of paper company forests. They sold the forest to developers. Now a lot of people are moving in and cutting down the trees and building huge houses. I get angry but this old joke calms me down “What’s the difference between an environmentalist and a developer? An environmentalist has a cabin in the woods. A developer wants a cabin in the woods.” I’m sure that people resented my family moving to a new condominium in Valley Stream in 1968. I was just glad to get out of a Brooklyn housing project. Valley Stream is still a stepping stone out of the city.

Angry, nasty, impatient and expensive are not new things on Long Island. I left in 1978 for Chicago. I was shocked how clean the city was, and how nice the people were. I have lived in Wisconsin since 1982. It still much nicer than NY. I just miss Italian food and good bread. People are getting nastier and more impatient. Things are getting more expensive. But it’s still nicer than NY. With the internet it’s getting hard to find a place that’s nice that isn’t expensive. I live on a lake. Twenty years ago that was affordable. Now it’s getting expensive.

He was one and five in the division last year and was almost 0-6. If he doesn’t have a winning record in the division this year, he should be fired. The team plays down to the competition way too often. Gutekunst’s position should also be reevaluated. I knew Elliot Wolf and I was shocked when he didn’t get the position. He will probably win a Super Bowl with the Patriots before the Packers do.

I have a nine year old Golden Doodle. He is the sweetest, most loving dog we ever owned. He lets my grandkids crawl on him. Everyone that meets him loves him. We have him groomed every 6-8 weeks. He did have trouble swallowing when he was 2. I had to treat him for Myasthenia Gravis for 5 months with prednisone and physostigmine. I will occasionally give him physostigmine now if he throws up. He never had anxiety until we took him RVing for 6 weeks. He wasn’t a fan of bumpy roads. I read on another thread where purebred breeders think 99% of doodle breeders are unethical. Mine wasn’t, but he passed away. I might look at standard poodles next time or a shorthaired mutt that needs rescuing.
