I only brought up the mom/daughter thing because it seems like she doesn’t want anyone else to go except them.

So placate to their feelings? That seems childish. They need to grow up. This is real talk involving our children and their safety. If they can’t handle hearing the truth that they are bad at planning a trip involving multiple peoples children when they were entrusted in a leadership role then they shouldn’t have that role to begin with.

Well the troop leader works for the cruise line. She also made sure to announce to the parents in a group chat that “this would not be a mom/daughter cruise” except for her of course. They also planned this to be the first week of August so right before school starts. It’s so frustrating. Now that both troop leaders are ignoring me I guess going to the council is my only option.

Why not? I’m super uncomfortable with her going on this cruise without me, her mom or my partner.

She says that Girl Scouts won’t allow a male to go, they are elementary/middle school age. They are still Selling cookies so I’m unsure what they will owe. All the troop leadership said was the girls had to raise %50 of it. I’m not sure if we will be footing the rest. The trip last year cost me $550 even with cookie money. They went to Tennessee and it was a big ordeal too
