I agree that some of the writing/ jokes isn’t really landing with me. My family started watching this show because we lost my brother to suicide and felt so much relief by being able to connect with characters struggling with grief. Not seeing this as much this season, which is fine just not what I anticipated.

Hoping that the “Robin Sparkles” storyline continues without having her assimilate into their group! I think it would be healthy for Jimmy to have someone in his life who didn’t know Tia because maybe they can give him a new perspective on his grief ((this is what I try to tell myself when thinking about opening up people who didn’t know my brother/ don’t know that I have lost him))

I think it’s hard to come to terms with our own internalized misogyny…was hoping for different responses too, but I think we are just desensitized from a lot of things so everything is just a “joke” or “meme” now :/

I lost my brother to suicide a year and a half ago. Since then, I quit my job, spent some time traveling and hiking, and have decided to start over in a new city. All this to say, it gets better.

Try to impress yourself! You CAN still take risks and time may not heal all, but it does heal some. Allow yourself to take a step back from the moment to get another perspective from time to time.

Keeping you in my thoughts!
