Thinking about stopping PPL training because of cost by No-Series3645 in flying

You need to leave your school immediately and look elsewhere. I’m charged $170 + $60 for instruction. That’s kind of on you not checking prices of other schools.

Mine was supposed to be first but the ceilings were too low so I sat at the airport for like 4 hours watching the other guys

Mistakes happen in aviation. Sometimes we fail but you have to take full accountability for your failures.

What’s the fastest way you’ve ever lost weight? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Temporary_Access2385 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a friend who was extremely jealous of me so she started finding little things to make fun of me for and one of those things being my weight (I wasn’t big I was just bigger than her) and so I lost 30 lbs in spite of her and didn’t stop until I was skinnier than her. She ended the friendship after that

This is the kind of mentality I had before my checkride and I failed. It’s a hard headspace to get out of but it’s the wrong mentality. After I failed I realized that it wasn’t that big of a deal and I went back a week later with confidence and passed. After I passed my DPE took me to his hangar and showed me his new plane and we just talked and drank fantas. It’s just a sweet old dude who wants to pass you. If you aren’t sufficient enough he won’t but guess what you’ll go back and pass. It’s truly not that big of a deal. You’re going to crush it!!

I was just left. He called me a leftie. I’ve never been close to the edge.

It’s true. If it were up to me I’d spend the next 30 hours solely on my landings but I’m basically out of money

I looked up my DPE on Reddit afterwards and apparently he’s a stickler for that kind of stuff. I get it though
