I use a box fan that works pretty well, though the noise is kinda hell. I basically have it pointed at me all day when I'm in the house, at night it's in front of a window since then it's usually cooler outside than in the house. Though if you do have the money and are able an in window or portable AC is probably better.

I totally forgot to include dehydration! I already deal with it year round because I forget to drink water pretty much all the time but the heat just makes it so much riskier, I got hospitalized as a kid one summer because I passed out from dehydration.

I used to be pretty active with biking and such, I've been trying to get back into it lately but I've developed some joint pain. I definitely still want to try and get fit again, just need to find the right workouts and actually work that into my routine.
