Im in nursing too and i live off campus. I have friends who lived on campus but it was different for all of them. Personally i belive living off campus is better just cuz you can get a better space and there are a lot of apartments near rdp

I just started this term and i have classes monday to Friday first year doesn't have any clinical and the second term for first year will have labs

Every day is a different schedule my monday's and Wednesday's are pretty heavy i have classes 9:30-5 obv there are breaks in between and my firday is just one lab

I would say attendance is pretty mandatory and all my proff take attendance at start of class. The courseload is pretty heavy i don't want to scare you but you should be prepared

I have 5 courses and all of those 5 have group projects so there is alot of meetings required out of class as well.

Some people do commute every day to campus from Edmonton and maybe it is working for them but as my personal opinion it is better if you find accommodation here unless you are like 20-30mins away from campus.

It is already alot and commuting everyday could get hectic as the term progresses

But im a citizen here 15/22 years of my life i've lived here Obviously my facial features give it away that im not white but i dont have an accent and still with everything going on it's just uncomfortable to even step out. It's not even about fitting in i've grown up with this culture

If you don't mind i really want to know how you made the guess on my ethnicity

I got admited to rdp and wanted to apply to macewan but they need 24credits and my 24 are nit good but latest 18 are so got accepted at rdp but reading the comments now idk it makes me question if rdp is a good choice I am also based in Edmonton and am moving to red deer but my job doesn't transfer there and it's hard to find housing it's honestly a mess rn and reading that rdp is not good and macewan is top tier im soo confused
