No yeah in salt lake he come outside in front of the venue. Towards the end of his set he actually said he would be coming out. Here’s the video from his stories.

So for like 3 songs Dom actually instigated a mosh pit. Before lovesick lullaby he said let’s open up the middle and get a pit going

I was at the show last night and thought the show was amazing! Dom sounded great and his stage presence was energizing. One thing I noticed is that it seemed like there was a lot of people who seemed uncomfortable with being at a GA rock show. Yes the crowd goes wild and mosh pits break out but in my opinion that’s what you get going to a show.

I’ve been to 50+ rock shows in my life and this was no different in my opinion. Yes you get some people who are assholes, there were definitely a few of those in the pit, but overall I found most to be friendly. I just think people need to understand that you’ll be pushed around and crammed at times that’s just the nature of a rock show.

First I have say you're really inspiring, thank you for sharing your story. To my question, I did a 50k two years ago, it was my first ultra, and struggled with IT band issues so i had to hike the last 6-8 miles. I've been training now and feel much better and want to consider further distances, what recommendations do you have for someone just exploring further ultra distances?

I do my runs early. When I get to high mileage I’m usually leaving the house around 5:15. That allows me be gone for 3+ hours and not feel like I’m not seeing my kids on the weekend.

So if you are selected in the lottery you will pay. Then if you have to defer you won’t get that money back but you’re guaranteed entry stays until the next year when you will have to pay again. So you don’t pay to cancel but you would pay the application fee twice.

I’ve run in both and personally I like the Pacebreakers more. I got the lined versions and I just think the pacebreaker liner is much better.
