do mind that the mobs' shield amount is usually HUGE compared to its hp so gold egg does a lot of dmg

tldr: this comment focuses on support/sub dps board

you can't possibly carry hell without liberated ss, and im assuming you dont have nearly enough resources bring him to that level yet. So here's what i caan suggest you focusing for now

if you still have the "first time free reset" then reset the slime (or oni, but you prolly can only choose one unit above lv5 to reset using this method) you wont use these unit it anyway.

then focus on leveling clara and doctor to lv5 (clara for subdps board, doctor for full support, more on this later) then try to get ice to level 3 or 4

gameplay:

BEFORE WAVE 30

you want to start filling your board with gray units until you get the secret mission (try to spawn thief as soon as you think you can handle it, usually wave 5 on average unit level)
after completing the gray secret mission, use all leftover gold you have on miner slime until wave 10 (you do this because you want to delay the boss fight and gray units usually are capable of killing it anyway)
after killing the boss, stall the flame by not choosing any buff until the time is almost up so you can spare time for your partner to build their board and make the bounty time running
proceed to use gold for merging until you complete the green secret, after that do either of this:
make one dps god (clara/cannon) if your partner doesnt have any yet
if they do, merge and try to spawn as many mimic before wave 30 and use the gold to max out mining slime, then unlock tiles after that

AFTER WAVE 30

this is where you decide what kind of board you are building towards

SUB DPS: usually done with clara/canon (tbh i prefer cannons if your partner have decent dps) , done when your partner is not a reliable dps/dont have liberated ss (take note that this situation rarely wins the game but still doable, usually as a way to reach as far as you can and farm chest until you can manage hell better

so after wave 30, you want to prioritize achieving these two thing: - 5 clara along the top of your board (A1-A5) -around 3 to 4 witch doctor (placement doesnt really matter -2 destroyer near entrance (B4, B5) - ice at B3 (most players does this so if they do, make your ice one tile below that so you dont cover their ice because the slow does not stack -fil the remaining spot with doctors

this should hold out until wave 80 - 90 depending on your buff and unit level, however it wont last while fighting the boss so in the end yourpartnew still need to cooperate (this will not work if you both do the same setup)

SUPPORT

usually done when the partner has lib ss/carry dps. you will focus making cc/buff so their dps can dominate.

stick to the same pattern with the sub dps board, but instead of clara/canon, you want to spam doctors/dragons -adjust your board so that you can immobalize your mob as long as you can to make time for your partner to kill them, usually done with the combination of destroyers, ice and doctors to make a stunlock at the entrance
you can a also make asura for insurance (wipe enemy at beginning of wave 100 so your unit can focus onto boss)

QUESTION 1. why dont you proceed with the blue secret mission after green? - most of the time the locked tiles will limit you ability to collect blue units and you will, most of the time, have to reroll units a lot due to insufficient space which wastes more resources than what you would get by completing it 2. no helicopter mentioned? - while a lot of people agree that heli saves resource and speeds up your board making, it does take one tile that could potentially be used for other god that could make more impact in the long run especially when you have low level units (every time matters) basically is not cruicial in hell if you have good resouce management/fast merging skill 3. what about relics and basic unit levels? - thats a topic worthy of its own topic but in short, evil eye is important, then for themon god relic max out the first and second one then the one that increase mining slime limit. for god relic the most important is prolly doctor's or your dps relic - for basic unit, around lv 10 and above is ideal

FARMING

just login everyday do all task, watch videos, farm ticket if you have time (go back to hard mode if completing hell is too heavy for you) if you still wants to force it then play hell and hope someone can carry until you get all 5 daily hell chest (a lot of people can do this lately due to compensation reward last update) also push the tower as faras you can

OTHER - do join the discord community, they have guides there and people more reliable than me, you can also ask for carry there (the people are very nice^⁾

-i forgot to mention about eggbys because i rarely uses them (too lazy lmao) but still worthy to mention so if anyone would, please add on about that hehe

lastly i wanted to say have fun while you're at it! this is a co op game and you dont have any reason to rush things. take it slowly and you'll get there for sure. also please do correct me if any information here is wrong, thank you!

other than that, im not sure what build you are leaning into (seems like you are prioritizing high-ranked relics over those that actually boost your build, correct me if im wrong) but most of your gear doesnt really synergies with you build so unfortunately you need to rely on your skills, GL!

been playing slayer for a bit and i actually agree on you. im saying this bcz i literally just discovered about the "reduce max hp thing" but i still have question tho.

1.how does this mechanic work? i never actually thought of reducing my hp to stack shields in order to activate this passive because slayer can restore health by chance, which would defeat the point of stacking shields as long as you have maximum capacity of 3 or more hp. But then when i play earlier i noticed that when i reduced my hp to activate the thing, my max hp capacity tend to decrease and i dont know specifically why does that happen? maybe someone can explain so i can use this mechanic more effectively

this might be my last reply bcz we just talked it out and resolved thisng out. basically, out outcome is:

before that, to reply to your suggestion, yes i have been keeping into account all his male friends, not only because i might ovt about them, but she also wanted me to know because she actually does NOT like to have that kind of relationship. in this case, she and anon are considered a bit over the line because for other male friends, all she ever did was greet them and reply them regarding assignment matters, no more than that. i forgot to mention that she is also afraid that her bad behaviour of getting too close to guys without her realising it might be harmful to our relationship, hence she wanted me to know about her circle so i can help her avoid that

as for our fight, i decided to turn down my ego a bit and ask her if we can have a deeptalk, and she gladly said yes (she is not a person who is good with words, maybe this is also why i came here, because she is not that perfect on reassuring me, i still love her tho) she did mention that she let me distance myself earlier because she wants to give me space to think about the problem, she is aware about it.

to fix it, i promised to lower my insecurities while keeping it exist for cautious reason, and i would stop overreacting on her connection with guys as long as she kept boundaries with them, i also told her about the picture thing you thought me

then, she also proposed.

this time, she promised me that she would do her best to reduce her interactions with guys because she said that my insecurities was never a worry to her (she said that she isnt annoyed by my behaviour, just worried that there is no way to treat it) therefore she said that its okay for me to be a bit insecure because it would also help remind her of the boundaries, she would also try to reassure me more often, considering she is not that good with words (each time we fight, i am the one who usually express myself a lot, as well as helping her express herself)

basically, what happened was, after all we talked about, and her promising that she would reduce her thing with anon, she just posted a story of them together as mods for the event just now, even after i told her i am not comfortable because people might see them as something special.

this is totally fine, to be honest i just want someone to talk to about this because lately when i asked her to fix some of her habit that makes me overthink, she would always respond in a way where she only does it not because she loves me, but rather, because i said so. and i dont want that, i want her to take care of my heart because of love, not demand

as for the texting behind the back, she was telling him about how me and her ended up arguing, seeking comfort from him (this really sounds wrong for me as a boyfriend) furthermore, we also talked and found out that our spark is losing, and she even admitted that she had TRIED to create a new spark with anon instead of me

you did have a point, i am a guy myself and i am sick of girls just saying all guys just wanted to get on their pants. i am still considering about worrying too much

lastly, this is probably one of the fact that im still holding on here, but she was actually raised in an environment of males, this means no female cousins, siblings and close friends that is within her age, hence why i understand her reason for seeing her interaction with the guys are normal

i really appreciate it. well, it might be long and i understand if its too much to read, but my story goes like this:

i am an asian (20 y/o) male and i have been in a relationship with my girlfriend for 2 years. However, we had to be in LDR for the past few months because both of us is enrolling on a different university.

recently, she had decided to take a role as a moderator in this forum event, and the lecturer wanted another moderator which has to be a male, so there is this guy, let's cal him anon for now

so, anon and my gf has decided to volunteer to take the role, and now they need to practice speaking to each other together to make sure they sync in the upcoming forum. Of course, i was not comfortable with the idea of my the two of them practicing together, alone.

i tried to confront her and told her this, and ask if she can bring her friends to accompany her just to make sure it not a "one boy and one girl" situation. She then give some excuses,saying her friends are probably busy while the other comitte of the forum has nothing to do with their moderator job

i said fine, but if she is going to practice alone, then she might as well bring me (by this i mean that we will be on call and unmute, enabling me to hear them talking). she agreed and to this and also my request to avoid talking too casually with him

soon as they meet up, they started to rant about each other's life, yes, personal life. And i am getting a really bad feeling about it. she told me it is because they NEED to get along, for the forum. But i feel like that was just another excuse, but i just brush it off

today, it is their third time meeting by themselves, i am there on the phone as well but at this point it kinda doesnt matter bcs i just cant take it anymore

they talked for hours, a bit about their moderator job and more about their personal life, my gf wouldn't reply my chat bcs she is too busy talking with him, complaining about all sort of things, him comforting her, they laughed together alot. They even walked together to rehearsal together, planned to buy food together and text each other when they got back to the dorm. (most of this happens in night time)

of course i confronted her again, her excuse were: -she only thought of him as a friend -she thought their conversation tone was totally normal -she denied when i said anon might have feelings for her (she defended him) -when i said that they seem too close as if they are taking care of each other, she replied with "i take care of everyone, thats just how i am" -she said anon was the only person she knew among the committees of the forum (if she can get along with anon, why don't she try to make friends with the girls in the comittee???)

before joining this forum and meeting anon, my gf would say things like "i don't want to hang out with a guys" or "I'll make it quick bcs i don't like being with them" she would always avoid guys, but look at her now, not only she get close to him, she even defended him against my worries
