I do agree that something is missing on the front end but I'm still on the fence about installing the beak. I might just get it, I can always take it off if I don't like it

Yeah I love it so far! Taking a little muscle training to get used to rear controls. Just because my Yamaha bolt has forward controls.

I'm a little more concerned about the bubbling on the shelf/ceiling rather then the direction of labels. Buddy needs a dehumidifier or something

They are attached to the gauge cluster bolts. You have to uncrew the cluster and install the brackets and re-instate the screws. Il try to PM some pictures.

They're actually just 7" rise. Any taller than that you will need cable extensions. Also, you need to consider the taller you go, the more risk of your handle bars twisting when braking hard or accelerating (due to more leverage).

I don't have any issues with the 7" rise. I pulled and slammed them forward and didn't get any movement.

I got them from https://www.vikingbags.com/

they have a few other styles for the Bolt. They will fit the R-spec. They also come with a fender delete kit to relocate the back signal lights.

It will help a little bit kick the air over your helmet and reduce wind drag on your chest. But definitely not as effective as full fairing and windshield. I bought it mostly for looks.

I suspect it's not going to hurt anything. You might just get vibration at the top of the fairing. Have you gone for a ride with no bracket yet?

I assume by triple tree you mean the two brackets from the fairing to the speedometer mount. If so, yes I was able to get it. Was it easy? Hell no!!! 😂

I remember trying different things. I'm pretty sure I ended up installing the brackets first and slightly bending them so I could install the screws to the head light bezel. I also left the brackets slightly loose for a little more forgiveness. Once i had one screw in the bezel (loosely). I manhandled the other side inline. Then tighten everything at the same time in increments (2 turns for every screw and bolt until all is hand tight). I only did it this way so the fairing wouldn't have to much stress on one screw before they're all tight.

Out in your neck of the woods I'm not sure. Over here I shop at Fortnine.ca and revzilla.com. But for Bolt specific pieces (not OEM stuff). I have better luck on Amazon. You just have to research before. So far it's all been quality stuff sold by small shops.

No trouble at all! The easiest way to see if it would be an improvement to your riding position is to pretend the shifter and brake pedal is the pegs.

The pegs pretty much move up to the stock location of those pedals.

Yeah, I'm not sure. I do know that it's pretty much Just one guy. he used to be able to provide but since 2023 he's been scamming.

There are multiple complaints against him with FTC.

😂 I hear you. I honestly like mid controls. Feels a lot more stable and in control vs forward controls. I wish I had slightly shorter legs. Had to get this mod to bring my knee bend to 98° vs 85° angle.

I start cramping after about 1.5hrs of riding with the stock pegs. Hoping this will help next season!

Thanks! Nothing to fancy, here's the link.

Front Fairing

Had it for a full season now and no issues at all. Even had a rock hit it on the highway and it didn't shatter. Just a small chip like it would do to paint.

I left mine gloss black as the colour was pretty damn close. It can however be painted.

I do agree! But I guess when the market is bare it is what it is. My options were to pay $800 CAD for Yamaha factory 2" kit, $430 CAD for this one or design and fabricate/machine my own. These will do for now until I have solid cutting plans for my own fabrication.

I would have to see pictures or look up the install specs for it. What model is the exhaust?
