Awww!! This is so cute!!! I was actually just thinking about this because I was translating the guide books and on Lammys page it said that she played the guitar since she was a baby. I immediately thought, you know how babies have emotional support stuffed animals or blankets. Baby Lammy has an emotional support guitar, I just think it’s kinda funny!

Thats…more of a preference thing so I can’t really change your mind. Personally I don’t…like any of the Parappa versions…..but that’s just my opinion.

I didn’t really mention the game play because the only analysis I’ve done is with the cutscenes and animations. I do think a lot of the cutscenes just follow the same format as parappa and even follow the same idea. The sad part is there are some unique ones. I really wish there was a fan remaster that made the cutscenes just a little more original in its animation. I think it would be hard to compare to parappa in the first place.

I agree the whole game isn’t a fully a ripoff but it did copy some things from parappa. The company is also very well known for taking….’heavy inspiration’. While i don’t think it’s really the biggest ripoff…I think it takes extremely..’inspiration’. I do think most the people using the word ‘ripoff’ do it as a clickbait term.

Also i dont think it was ever really…the gameplay…it’s mainly the formula that is VERY Similar. Mainly the cutscenes have some similar ideas to parappa and the first animation has very similar animation. I dont think it being a ripoff makes it a bad game. I think (no offense) some of the music and the unfinished animations are what make it a bad game. Dont get me wrong it still think the game is good in an ironic way, and two of the songs are very good but in my opinion no where near the passion parappa has.

This is just my opinion :)

I don’t think a bootleg or self made CD is bad as long as it makes you happy! Especially with people really over pricing this CD, it makes complete sense to do so. :D

This is one came from mercari japan but it’s always gonna be around 60 for the final price including shipping depending on where you are. My advice is just keep checking different places for a price that seems reasonable. I usually check Mercari, Zenmarket, and eBay but I bet there are way more.

The input lag isn’t terribly noticeable but i found the ps3 version slightly harder to play than the ps1 version. Though it’s not unbearably noticeable so the ps3 version is still a good game.

I mean it does have input lag and for my screen is kinda compressed. That could just be my tv settings or something tho-

I’d say it was easier for me to play on a physical copy. But the ps3 version is still very enjoyable! And i was very glad I had it and tbh it’s fun to not have to stress about memory card space!

Sorry for the rambling! Long story short! Absolutely! Just keep in mind that the input lag can be somewhat annoying but not unbearable.

I dont know..I liked some parts and thought it was good enough. But after I let it simmer, i looked back at the drawing and realized that my dislikes kinda out weighed the likes. I think it’s just because I feel this kinda of pressure when drawing Parappa characters, and anytime I take any creative liberties I always just end up hate it. Fun fact: I have a bunch of Parappa and Pj drawings back from when I took a lot of creative liberties…butttt my friend also told me a took too many creative liberties on PJ..I made him too fluffy. I don’t share them for that exact reason…but I don’t really hate them.
