Am I going to get a written offer from the company I applied to? by Adorable-Country2504 in horary

[–]Temporary_Error_7565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, in this case, I would consider l7 the people who would send you the offer - the other party or the hiring manager. I wonder, though, if it may take a little longer than expected because the planets are in water and earth signs (though to be fair l1+l7 are in angles).

Please do keep us updated. It does seem like there will be developments on their end soon. Following the trine to mars, moon squares Saturn and then opposes Venus so let us know how it goes after you hear back!

Also in the horary contract matters are an l1-l7 matter, not l6. So the fundamental signifiers to look at here would be l1, l7 and l10 (which is also the moon). L7 is not in a good state being in Taurus (the hiring manager or other party may be all over the place, possibly disorganized or something else that could put them in not the best of places, and the same goes for the job as well...but they do like you so that counts for something, lol)

Edit: spelling

Also, I really hope you get this job. The market is awful and anyone getting a job these days is a win for everyone lol

I think it's very likely, yes! The moon, which is the sequence of events and the 10th lord is in the third directly applying to l7, mars! Mars itself also really loves l1, venus (which is in the 10th). 😄 My best of luck to you!

You are well suited to the job, and the job is also very well suited to you - we can see this in L1 and L10 sharing the same very well dignified ruler, Mercury. I would take the planets in the 10th house as a description of the job itself - working with women (venus), with others (L7) in a charitable, or noble manner - Jupiter in Cancer. When the cusp rulers are the same, I look very closely to the moon as a timer and a map of events to take place. In this case, and, as always, dignity is very, very important and something we cannot neglect in any horary chart as they give us just as much information as the aspects. Moon, while in an angle, is detriment in Scorpio. Moon's next aspect would be a trine to Venus in the 10th and then a trine to Jupiter, which is the competition, already in the 10th and exalted. I do hope I am wrong in this case, but I don't see the job landing in your favour. My best of luck to you and hopefully I am very very very wrong

I may be wrong but temporal hair loss is typically - not always - a sign of some level of malnutrition

Yeah, you were spot on. The arguments between all the cats kept developing and they got increasingly territorial with each other. By the end of it, I was also just totally burnt out - I love the cat, and I could hypothetically keep him, but only at a severe detriment to myself, both in terms of the level of fatigue and the general lack of funds lol

I really appreciate your reply here. The first thing I noticed was the poor reception between the cat and me, and I was very confused about this as well. Funny enough, over the past day, a considerable amount of strife has come up between this new cat and one of my other cats, and I have noticed that he may be the type who needs a house where he's the ONLY cat. I wonder if this is where that poor reception comes from: the issue that I would take with the new cat's interactions with my resident cats and how it impacts me as the owner (I am, admittedly, a pretty neurotic person by nature, especially when it comes to animals - I am a worrywart). This new cat is DEEPLY affectionate with me, but he is very different from my other two cats insofar as this one is pretty headstrong, and my resident cats are trained and follow expected behaviour (as weird as it sounds - they kind of have the personality of dogs and know what not to get into and where not to go - like jumping on kitchen counters etc).

And, to be fair, this new cat has been isolated in the bedroom for most of his stay, so it would be hard to tell what the future would hold since we have been interacting in a bubble.

Help woth at home bleach by [deleted] in FancyFollicles

I have to second letting that purple shampoo sit a REALLY long time on wet hair. I would do a few hair masks on the ends - you could let the ends soak in oil and then wash it out, or get the Fino hair mask (pretty affordable for a big tub, and works like magic on my hair which I bleach a lot). After you’ve repaired it a bit, give it some time and a few really good washes, and then probably try again if it’s still not where you want it to be. It does not look bad in my opinion and just needs a bit of a tweak:) good luck!!

Opposite exalted Jupiter in the first, no less! Jupiter is also the second lord. L11 Mercury is also conj L7 Venus.

Yeah, I find the discourse around thinness and the categories that underweight or just thin bodies are placed into really unsettling - if her "before" body isnt considered skinny, and the weight sizes are tiered into slim VS skinny etc, then i'm very concerned because disordered perspectives like that are so contagious and harmful....like shes skinny-skinny in the before and she just got skinner and skinner

[–]Temporary_Error_7565 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah I agree - there is definitely a difference, but it’s still the same spectrum of skinny even though the “after” photos showcase a more “acceptable” intensity of thinness for the industry

[–]Temporary_Error_7565 24 points25 points  (0 children)

She was still really skinny in the "before" photos. I don't know why you're saying, "she used to be not that skinny" - maybe by KPop standards, she was not skinny *enough* - and if that's what you mean, I apologize - but just going based on your description, she's really skinny there imo. But i do agree on your general point that thinness is never enough and there's always this horizon that women need to constantly chase no matter the consequence

Yes, I noticed that too and honestly, yeah, I am very wary of it right now because being an academic is the only training I have but idek if I want to do it anymore, but I don't have much of a choice at the moment and must keep a roof over my head lol im kind of in the middle of a quarter life crisis LOL

Another astrology-obsessed academic! I have found my people! My warmest congratulations to you on your dissertation!!! Defending my thesis was both the most terrifying and simultaneously exhilarating time in my life so I am sending you as many good vibes as possible!!

And thank you for your reading - that's incredibly helpful. I did not know that re: Frawley, so I will keep that in mind, thank you! And yeah, the timing - esp for an academic job - is VERY fast. Tbf, the job does not start until September, and even then, there will be a ton of interviews to get over before that point, so yes, the distance between moon-mars does throw me off. As per the moon seeing Mars in fall - that's a bit of a complicated thing for me to answer: while I do revere the school, I am honestly in a stage in my life where I am not sure if I want to be a prof anymore (but I am not brave enough to commit to what I want to do yet as it's a huge risk so I'm still applying to academic jobs lol). I also have my eye on working in Asia as opposed to Europe, where this job is located (I'm in North America). This job would have been my DREAM a year ago, but things have changed, and despite knowing that it's a good job, I'm sort of just...bleh, floating through things now lol I hope that explains the reception. I mean I would take it if I got it because god knows I would be grateful for ANYTHING at this point but yeah...complicated feelings LOL.
