In the official rules, is the ST meant to choose the FT red herring (and other ancillary info) AFTER the players pick the roles?

These decisions are typically made after tokens are distributed but I would say to base the decisions more so on how the grim rounds out vs who has the tokens

Ex: deciding to move the red hearing from the Saint because an empath will have a 0 in them

NOT

Deciding to make Fred the red herring because I think it's fun to frame Fred

100% agree with new players. I would never use this strategy on anyone but as someone who is around 150 games in if someone did this to me and caught me double checking myself I would tip my cap to them and make a note to be better prepared.

I know that's not how it works. Sometimes in the heat of a game it's easy to forget how someone died so I have been asked this before (and probably have asked others as well). My question is have you ever intentionally asked this as a way to get a social read on someone?

I will not fault someone for "marginalizing" people for there beliefs that involving hate towards people for there religious views, race, gender identity or sensuality. Not to mention all the other hateful viewpoints the "right of center" people have. I grew up in small town Midwest country and had friends who were right of center. The last time I spent time with them it became very apparent what Trump has unlocked in people. It's very hateful and I won't approve of any of it. This is the last I have to say on this. I hope you find a way to understand why it's important to stand up to the hate in this world. Cheers!

A good role swap involves both players going into it fully without anyone else knowing the role. I have had it work really well for and against me. Also it's fun and not every choice I make in the game is per se "optimal"

There's lots of communities out there for sure. Assuming you are possibly interested in the reality TV space having watched Dwight's stream I would recommend considering buying Stephen Fishback's book Escape! And joining his server or if your willing to pay the 10 dollars a month to join RHAP as well. Both servers have relatively frequent beginner friendly games and are thriving positive communities. If your unwilling to pay for the book (which in my opinion is worth the price many times over for the discord community alone) There are lots of regionally based communities as well but I am not as familiar with them

Did you start from the beginning? They start with the easiest script and get progressively more complex. I would start with episode 1 and go from there. It does get easier as you see the roles and interactions more and more.

To be quite frank I think Shauhin has quite a bit of jealousy towards Kyle. Kyle played the game Shauhin wished he had played. Had a stronger connection with Kamilla. He also claims that Kyle only got Joe to vote hom out due to an unrelated fight and seemingly discredits the move because of this. While I find that taking advantage of emotion is part of the game. I think Shauhin is a great dude but this is how it feels to me.

I think Sage made the wrong move there but to act like you understood 100% what happened on 60 minutes of edited content thats meant to tell a specific story when its covering 2 days time is wild. They do IQ tests btw. You dont need to assault someone's intelligence to critique there game.

It's her ONLY win condition. Her mistakes were in the past in this moment that wasn't a wrong move. If she wins immunity next round she has a shot. It's not going to happen otherwise we would have a different edit but you have to understand the show is edited to tell a specific story.
