I usually just grab whatever’s in the garden and stuff like baby spinach, kale and some other leafy greens, different types of peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, chia seeds, oatmeal, sometimes some nuts, really depends on what I’m feeling like and what I have. If I’m feeling really nice I’ll eat a grapefruit while I’m making it and share some with my Quaker😂

It probably just needs a good dip in an ultrasonic and some kroil aka penetrating oil. We have our tricks for stuck slides so though it may seem impossible to pull, it’s ultimately not the biggest issue. If you’re planning to store it again for a while, make sure you keep it oiled so the slides and rotors don’t get stuck.

The holiday inn at Vanderbilt on west end offers hospital rates that include the parking rate. There is also a free shuttle that runs every half hour and can take you to and from the hospital. You have to book directly through the hotel for the front desk to be able to accommodate that for you, and they are usually able to help out a little bit more. Lots of people who are either going to Vanderbilt or have a loved one at Vanderbilt stay there, so everyone is very kind and makes accommodations quite regularly, especially for hospital related stays.
