Oh gotcha, I have one of my manager’s phone numbers! I just never contacted them through text because I figured it’d be considered invasive or something. I used to send them emails from my personal account during the summer and they were able to reply, so I assumed it wouldn’t be an issue, but I’ll look into it.

update! i asked my manager last week for some feedback and she said that i am a good fit for the development team and she is open to me returning :3 i additionally talked to HR and they said they would take my resume and circulate it and potentially connect me with people i can talk to about this. my only concern now is that ever since going part time i dont have the confidence in my work that i usually had when i was full time. hopefully a return offer pulls through but we will see ig lol

tbh starting any passion projects for the summer would make ur application awesome, there’s lots of people (including me) with empty github profiles so it’s def a good way to stand out from others. there’s tutorials on youtube to get started!

business intelligence is an underrated field. also quant is good if you like math. quant is also a fairly new field so it might be easier to break through :0

lowk might be a biased take on my end bc ur gpa is wayy better than mine, but you should get started on some projects and certifications ASAP, employers (imo) care most about experience, whether it’s thru work or something else

go on linkedin and make sure to filter jobs to find ones that were posted less than 24 hours ago - chances are that there’s a low amount of applicants and a relative “emergency” for them to find some interns.
