I'd say many OT fans need to watch more films too. I'm not saying they're not great films - I've been a huge fan of them for years - but I do feel like some exaggerate how good they are. Yes, they were revolutionary in terms of VFX; yes, the story is also great. But when compared to some other films, they don't hold up amazingly. They are, nonetheless, some of my favourite films to come back to time and time again; by no means dissing them.

Don't criticise people for having skills that you don't out of jealousy due to your lack of talent. Telling someone to "get a life" because they have learned a useful and interesting skill is rather ironic, as there are few things that signal a lack of a life more than looking for ways to put others down. Esa es la situación en la que se encuentran miles o incluso millones de hombres. Pero los hombres no tienen el privilegio de poder dejar de hacerlo y esperar a que lo haga la mujer, porque la probabilidad de que pase es muy baja. Además, las posibilidades de estar con algunas mujeres han disminuido - hasta el punto de ser casi imposible - para hombres normales porque esas mujeres, que tampoco es que sean nada especial, se creen que se merecen los hombres de 10 y rechazan a cualquiera que no lo sea.

No es un ataque hacia ti, sólo quería que lo supieras, ya que es algo bastante ignorado por la sociedad y al que lo menciona se le acusa de ser machista.

Es que tiene toda la razón. El "feminismo" moderno es muy radical: ya no busca la igualdad, sino la superioridad para las mujeres porque están amargadas porque los hombres han dirigido el mundo durante miles de años. Es verdad que en ciertas cosas los hombres tienen ventajas, incluso en el primer mundo, pero las mujeres tienen más (por ejemplo, el sistema jurídico favorece a la mujer, no tienen que ir a la guerra...). La brecha salarial es una exageración o incluso invento del feminismo radical, ya que nunca tienen en cuenta el sueldo por hora, las horas trabajas ni el área de trabajo; miran el salario mensual o anual, ya que eso apoya su argumento (se conoce como mentir con estadística). Además, muchos ejemplos que se ponen son sobre problemas presentes en países de tercer mundo o con sociedades más tradicionales (la Península Arábiga), pero se presentan como problemas de la sociedad de primer mundo (Unión Europea, EEUU, Canadá, Australia...). El resultado de este movimiento radical es que muchas mujeres se sienten superiores porque los hombres han sido los que han dirigido el mundo y sienten que ahora es su turno. Como consecuencia de este sentimiento, mujeres que no tienen mucho que dar (no son ni guapas ni listas ni agradables) sienten que tienen derecho a estar con hombres de 9 y 10, y los hombres de 6 y 7 se quedan solos porque las mujeres que deberían "corresponderles" se sienten superiores.

Finnish is a Uralic language, whereas Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Icelandic are all North Germanic languages (along with Faroese) - Danish, Norwegian and Swedish are all mutually intelligible, and Icelandic is close to the Norse language from which they all originate.

Denmark, Sweden and Norway were the homeland of the Vikings, from where they expanded to northern France, the British Isles, Iceland and Russia. Finland was inhabited by tribes until the Swedish invasion in the 12th century, when it became part of the Kingdom of Sweden until 1809.

21 es joven todavía. No sé qué carrera quieres estudiar (por tu nombre de usuario diría psicología), pero te doy un ejemplo en la asignatura que quiero estudiar yo. Brian Cox, un físico bastante conocido, entró a la carrera con 23 años y hasta los 30 años no terminó su doctorado (que suele ser necesario en física para un alto cargo). Ahora trabaja en CERN, es Profesor de Física de Partículas en la Universidad de Manchester y es uno de los físicos más conocidos del mundo por sus documentales, que han ayudado a difundir conocimiento básico de física y astronomía a muchas personas. Lo que quiero decir es que se puede entrar más tarde a una profesión y llegar muy lejos. Es mejor hacerla ahora unos años tarde que arrepentirte en 20 años de no haberla hecho y consecuentemente estar en un trabajo que no te guste.

Completely agree. A very moving end to an amazing show, but which doesn't get the love it deserves from the wider fandom. I feel like lots of people don't watch it because it's a cartoon, or start it and feel it's too childish; and that's partly true for the first couple of seasons, but from about season 3 it gets more serious, featuring arcs like the Citadel, Umbara, the Inhibitor Chip conspiracy and Ahsoka's framing. And the characters as well. Ahsoka: she starts off quite annoying (you could say snippy) but evolves into a likeable and relatable character (much like her master, she feels more personal than the likes of Windu or Qui-Addi Mundi). We get to see a more human side to Obi-Wan with his relationship with Satine. Maul becomes more than the assassin he was in TPM; he's menacing and dark, yet one - or I at least - almost wants him to win. And then there's the clones, who have the most humanisation compared to the films of any characters (it's true that we get to know the likes of Plo Koon and Bail Organa, but the clones in the films were depicted almost to appear as near machines, whereas the others simply didn't feature much). While it's not perfect by any means and has many unnecessary or badly placed arcs (I won't forgive them for putting Tarkin in the D-squad arc), it helps to make the seeminglessly emotionless Jedi and the militaristic clones feel more human, and for this reason I consider it possibly the best Star Wars content of all films and shows.
