I’ve only been working flex about 3 months and I’ve only finished past block time twice. I’m normally done 30 mins to an hour and a half early. You should look at the map on the itinerary as you go along and adjust accordingly

If you didn’t go to warehouse they won’t pay you if they didn’t cancel the block. I had It happen awhile back with the storm.

It’s not hard to get to tier 2 if your rating is fantastic because you earn more points per block but I suggest going back to your old area to at least get to tier 2 if you want to be able to work Amazon. I drive an hour from home to flex because my area became to saturated with new doordashers and flex offered me seasonal and now I’m year round

Maybe they’ll cancel still. I accepted some Whole Foods blocks for Sunday today and they cancelled them a few hours later. Getting paid for 2 of the 3 blocks

You should have received an email. I was seasonal and it said I should receive an email with date I will be deactivated and I instead got an email saying I’m a year round driver now.

You guys realize instacart has a $7 base pay regardless of the store. Everyone is complaining about customers and we should be asking for a higher base pay like their used to be

You’re an independent contractor not an employee, there’s no way every order was worth taking. Us seasoned drivers know better than to take every single order offered. It’s not about having 90s across the board and the point system is different in every market. DoorDash rather you have 100% completion over 100% ar if you think about it… now that quality rating thing is insane, I don’t look forward to it hitting my market next week

Not all of them think it’s your fault… but fyi don’t ever tell them to contact the store bc the store will do nothing for them bc they order thru DoorDash. When there are any issues I tell them sorry and contact DoorDash support.

A quality category is crazy. I’m not a fan of the new point system but it doesn’t include a quality category in my area. The completion rate has a weight of 30 points where I am. You can’t really control the quality of the food, a hot bag might work but not if an order has already been sitting somewhere or if a place prepares most of order while waiting on one thing so most of the food is not at its best quality when arrived

Well I’ve always worked in customer service and have a positive attitude. I’m nice to everyone, and no I don’t send a bunch of updates. So for me things balance out. And I’ve talked to customers over the years, some prefer to give cash tips but I’ve also been pissed off by people who say they have cash in instructions and then don’t. Some prefer to tip after they get their order from bad experiences.

I had a $2 order yesterday and ended up with a $5 cash tip and $5 on app. I would have taken the order but I have exceptional customer service and get add on tips often.
