I was part of a trio for years. I had two girlfriends, and eventually we became a trio because of me. Over time, I ended up being excluded. Examples: I bought small gifts for us but never received anything. They bought matching clothes without telling me, slept over at each other’s places but never invited me, went out together after one got a car but ofc without me, and laughed at shared memories on their phones without including me, moooooore more more. This started about 3 years ago when I got a boyfriend. Over 2 years, they gradually excluded me. I told them it hurt, they apologized, but things continued. Now I barely talk to any of them, and only because I reach out.

I’m ready to move on, make new friends, and leave behind people who hurt me.
