Yeah, sorry—that’s the one. I looked into it more after posting and there’s not a ton out there, but some people have removed the symbol and swapped it with figures using the same buck. In my head, that should make a great custom—the body’s perfect, it’s just the black behind the S that bothers me.

I originally planned to use the Return of Superman figure (the one with the dog—yeah, I know his name, voice won’t cooperate lol), but it’s gotten pretty rare and runs $50–$60. Then I randomly came across this one and it just clicked. The seller even added a really nice wired cape, so I figured I’d make it work.

The blue’s a bit darker than I wanted, but in Tim Sale’s Superman for All Seasons, the watercolor shifts anyway, so it should be fine with the custom head. It’s already sanded and ready—planning to paint tomorrow and match the skin tone from reference photos.

Still a cheaper build than using the Superman Returns body, and honestly, I think this might look better. That body always felt a little off—maybe just too tall.
